MDMA Ecstasy How dangerous is it to turn sweets over

Mescaline (3,4,5-trimethoxyphenylethylamine) belongs to the class of Lophophora alkaloids and b-phenethylamines. Scene names are "Mecal", "Peyote", "Buttons", "Buttons". The substance peyocatin is found in many species of cacti, including: San Pedro, Peruvian stick cactus and peyote cactus, etc. Peyote is an extremely rare, critically endangered cactus. It is also very difficult to grow as it grows very slowly. There is also synthetically produced mescaline. The Mexican natives used peyote for medicinal purposes, such as headache, earache, bronchitis, fever, childbirth, depression and wound care. Even today, peyote is ritually used in large parts of Central and South America under the guidance of shamans. Mescaline is subject to the Narcotics Act, so possession, trade and acquisition are punishable. Although the possession of the live cactus is not prohibited, the processing and drying of the plant parts is considered to be the manufacture of an anesthetic.

The cacti are cut into thin slices and can be eaten fresh or dried (on an empty stomach) or partially boiled with hot water to make a tea. The brew has an extremely bitter taste. The peyote cactus can also be smoked, but the effect is weaker and it scratches the throat enormously. Synthetic mescaline is drawn through the nose in powder form or swallowed as pressed pellets.

The mescaline intoxication is described as a psychedelic-visionary, ecstatic state accompanied by feelings of happiness. All senses are changed: seeing and hearing are strongly influenced, especially color vision is strongly intensified. The sense of time and spatial perception have changed significantly. Mescaline in microdoses can have a slight aphrodisiac effect. The effect of mescaline is very similar to that of LSD, but differs in that: Compared to LSD, the effects only occur after up to 2 hours, before that there is often nausea and sometimes frequent vomiting. LSD shows its first effects after just 30-60 minutes. The symptoms that often occur after an LSD trip, such as slight hyperbole or exhaustion, also do not occur.

Even in a very low dose (in the milligram range), pure mescaline has a strong hallucinogenic effect. The effect sets in after 1-1.5 hours and can last up to 12 hours.

We advise people without previous experience with hallucinogens from consuming them!

Short-term effects

The pharmacological effect of mescaline and the bitter taste usually lead to nausea and sometimes to vomiting. Other side effects can be: increase in pulse rate and blood pressure, initially dry mouth - then increased salivation, enlarged pupils, increase in body temperature, decreased feeling of hunger during the duration of the effect, then often cravings for sweets, headaches the next morning, inability to drive.

Long-term effects

Long-term consequences of regular consumption have not yet been researched. Which is not to say that these don't exist. Even a single consumption can trigger latent psychoses.

Mescaline is only tested on special request and can be detected in the urine approx. 1-4 days after the last ingestion; in hair analyzes it is significantly longer if it is consumed repeatedly (1 cm corresponds to approx. 1 month).

Mixed consumption

The combination of mescaline with cannabis leads to an amplification of the effect. Mixed consumption with other drugs, alcohol and medication multiplies the risks incalculably. Therefore, absolutely avoid mixed consumption!
