Flo Rida (Born September 17, 1979 in Opa-locka, Florida; real name Tramar Dillard, also Florida written) is an American rapper. The name is a play on words with the name of his homeland Florida and a slang spelling of the term "flow rider" (denotes someone who figuratively rides a wave).

Musical biography

Musical beginning

As a teenager, Dillard had the hip-hop trio with two friends Groundhoggz founded, with whom he appeared in the area as an opening act for other artists.
