A great team of investigators on his first case

Criminal psychologist and profiler Augusta Bloom and her partner Jameson, a former MI6 agent, make a good team. Together they have a small office in the basement of an advertising agency. That is enough for them for their work as independent investigators. A great team of investigators on his first case

Criminal psychologist and profiler Augusta Bloom and her partner Jameson, a former MI6 agent, make a good team. Together they have a small office in the basement of an advertising agency. That is enough for them for their work as independent investigators. I am often called in to cases that are in the hands of the police, because Bloom is a very recognized specialist in her field and Jameson has seen almost everything in his previous life and also very good connections, if they are really explosive and secret information is needed. One day, Jameson asks Augusta a favor. He has never done that before, but it is very important to him to help a young girl whose mother has simply disappeared. Jane is 16 years old and has been 'raised' by Jameson's sister over the years, whenever her mother was on a foreign assignment or just in a bad mood. And now she is sitting in Augusta's office and wants to find her mother. Something must have happened, she is sure of that. Just go away like that, she wouldn't do that after all. Or maybe, if you lure them enough, with a game? At least Jane discovered such an invitation card in the empty apartment and now she needs answers. And so Bloom and Jameson go to work and what they find is just incredibly dangerous for a lot of people, but mostly for one. Because the game is played by very special sick people and at some point you recognize the goal and that is Augusta herself.
This is a tingling story, born out of the emotional depths of the human race, that more than deserves to be called a psychological thriller. And I'm sure the investigations of the very authentic and present profile duo will continue. I'm looking forward to her next fall.
