Who can represent Poland at the Olympic Games?

Pride in fulfilling the Olympic dream

The top eight of the World Athletics Relays not only bought tickets for the Olympic Games in Tokyo (July 23 to August 8), but are also directly qualified for the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene (USA).

“I'm just proud and happy that I'm allowed to go to the Olympic Games in Tokyo,” said the sprinter, who will try to qualify in the 100-meter sprint at meetings in the coming months. A complicated system, where the five best times place the sprinters on a ranking list, decides on the allocation of the Olympic tickets.

“I will look for my chance to qualify individually, but it is difficult to say at the moment whether that is realistic. I'm starting from scratch after being injured a lot in 2019 and not having any valid times in 2020, even though I was fast there. If it doesn't work, I'll make a new attempt for the Olympic Games in 2024, ”announced the 28-year-old.

Mathilde Uldall Kramer is already at an advanced age as a sprinter, but sees further development potential.

“I started late. I was already 18 when I got into the sprint. I don't think I've reached my limit yet and the next Olympic Games are only three years away, ”says the sprinter, who started for a long time for Aabenraa IG, but now lives and trains in Copenhagen.
