Netflix convinces many of its customers with its wide range of films that are well worth seeing. But often this blessing is also a curse. The problem of Netflix fatigue is all too well known to many movie fans. This means searching for the next film or series for minutes to hours without being able to decide.

We are eliminating this problem, because thanks to our list of the best films on Netflix you always have an overview of the absolute top offers on the streaming platform.

But what makes really good films? The criteria for good films are different for everyone. In order to obtain a reliable cross-section, we use the ratings on the IMDb film platform to create the list. The highest rated films that are also available to stream on Netflix will be added to our list.

Tip: IMDb doesn't just list films - that's why you will find an IMDb list of the best series on Netflix using the same scheme.

If a film is newly released on Netflix or if it is removed from the platform, we will update the list at regular intervals. So you are always up to date. Our list of best films was last updated on: May 05, 2021.
